In my case, the Korg Gadget for Mac plugins can help flesh out Ableton Live Lite projects (but my nephew doesn’t have that). Someone can do a lot with 64 clips and there are enough free VSTs around to make for fun stuff. So, as says, there are plenty of Ableton Tutorials online, but Lite (or Launchpad, presumably) can’t open the typical project files from those.Ī limited version is actually a good fit for me and for teaching/training. My strategy might be to create a project file to help him learn, but my guess is that some people here in the forums have experimented with cool integrations with iOS devices, which could be cool. He has access to an iMac and he uses an iPad, an iPhone, and a Launchpad Mini (so he actually has Ableton Live Launchpad Edition). Now, my nephew would like to understand how Ableton Live works. Used the license from Korg Gadget, a year or so ago. If youve been looking for new drum sounds and sample sounds. In some ways, Ableton Live Lite was my first DAW. Given the fact that all sorts of iOS apps give away licenses to Ableton Live Lite, one could reasonably expect that iOS musickers have created cool things with that limited version. Anyone got an Ableton project which works well with the Lite version? (Max of eight tracks and eight scenes, with limited effects and instruments, but still a lot of fun to play.)
